SAHIN TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN

Newly appointed Turkish Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin intends
to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan, September 25.
Sahin told the journalists that Turkey always was and will be next to
Azerbaijan and will in no way hurt its Azerbaijani brothers, Turkish
Hurriyet daily reports. According to Turkish mass media, the focal
point of his visit is Armenian-Turkish relations’ normalization.
Earlier Mehmet Ali Sahin expressed hope that Karabakh conflict will be
settled in the near future. "Azerbaijan and Turkey are ‘one nation, but
two states’. Turkey will never infringe upon Azerbaijan’s interests. We
will always back Azerbaijan," he said.
