NSC Secretary meets EU Special Envoy

Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Arthur
Baghdasrayan received the delegation headed by the EU Special
Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of the
Armenia-EU Action Plan for 2009-2011. They appreciated the support of
the EU expert group to the process of reforms in different spheres and
hailed the process of accomplishment of the Armenia-EU program.

The parties discussed the issue of formation of a simplified visa
regime between Armenia and the EU member states.

During the meeting reference was made to the latest developments in the
region and the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations.
