Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Kazinian received the EU
Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby
accompanied by the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Raul de
Luzenberger, and the Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia, Gedrus Apuokas,
who represents the EU Swedish Presidency.
Attaching great importance to the EU Eastern Partnership Initiative,
Karine Kazinian voiced hope that it would give a new impetus to the
cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the
multilateral cooperation between the countries of the region.
During the meeting Mrs. Kazinian and Ambassador Semneby discussed
issues related to different spheres of Armenia-EU cooperation.
At the guest’s instance, the Deputy FM presented Armenia’s stand on
the recent developments in the normalization of Armenian-Turkish
relations and the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
