Political situation in the country not depend on acceptance or rejection

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ NKR many times stated that ready to negotiate with
Azerbaijan and to discuss various issues, unfortunately, Azerbaijan
refused from negotiations, NKR Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosyan said.

`In my opinion, Azerbaijan has no grounds for such a persistant
refusal from direct relations with us. We have repeatedly said that
without taking into account the opinion of the Nagorno Karabakh’s
people settlement is very unlikely to be productive. This is perhaps
the only example of a state not recognized by anyone," he said.

The Nagorno-Karabakh foreign minister also stressed that international
law is very clearly states that political situation in the country
does not depend on whether it is admitted or denied. "Since 1992 we
have proved that we are able to build a statehood, and this is the
base of our overall current policy. Sooner or later the question of
recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh independence will receive its
solution. We have quite restrained attitude towards political events
in our region, and we never take hostile actions in the information
field. I hope this is appreciated by both the international community,
and our enemy.

We offer the other side of the conflict to behave similarly, as well
as to all those countries that try to speculate or put the the
Karabakh problem settlement at the service of their interests. It is
clear that the solution to the problem is a matter of time. Time is an
irreversible category," Mr. Petrosian said in an interview to the NTV
Turkish television channel.
