/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Synthesis of serum, preventing the spread of A
(H1N1) the virus ended, Liana Torosyan , key specialist of sanitary
and epidemiological inspection under the RA Ministry of Health told a
press conference in Yerevan today.
According to her, Armenia is taking all measures to effectively
counter the virus A (H1N1) in case of its penetration into the
country. Currently, there are no patients with A (H1N1) virus in
Armenia.
"There are all necessary medicines to treat the disease, in case of
necessity," Liana Torosyan said, adding that the Ministry of Health
applied to Russia and World Health Organization to start the import of
serum in the country. Later, preventive vaccination of vulnerable
groups is scheduled: first round doctors, emergency service doctors
and pregnant women.
Serum has already been used in China and the United States. There are
two types of vaccines, which is used by intranasal way or by
injection.
According to Liana Torosyan, there is no reason to panic,
fast-reacting office has been established in the Ministry of Health of
Armenia, involving experts from different departments, as well as
quarantine station at the Zvartnots airport.
To inform and alert the public the Ministry of Health disseminate
booklets. "Leaflets are distributed in all regions of the country
through regional administrations and clinics. The primary measure of
precaution is personal hygiene," Liana Torosyan said.
