Armenia sustains crucial defeat

Armenian women’s under-19 football team sustained a crucial defeat at
the first round of the 2010 European Championship Qualifiers. The team
lost to outsider Latvia by the score 2:6.

The Armenian team has missed 20 goals and suffered three defeats
during the qualifiers.

Azerbaijani team took the second place after defeating Cyprus (8:0)
and Ukraine (1:0). Spain is in the lead.
