RA Consulate opened in Kharkov

The Honorary Consulate of Armenia has been opened in Kharkov, Ukraine,
on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

Participating in the opening ceremony was RA Ambassador to Ukraine
Armen Khachatryan. Among the guests were Deputy Head of the Kharkov
regional administration Yaroslav Yushchenko, Director of the
International Cooperation Department Viktor Rud, Head of the
Dzherzinsk community council Valentin Dulub.

The lawyer Armen Aslanyan has been appointed RA Honorary Consul in
Khakov. Aslanyan, who came to Kharkov more than 20 years ago, has been
actively involved in activities aimed at preserving and developing
Armenia and assisted the construction of an Armenian church.
