Where was the last place you dined out?
Guy Harvey’s Island Grill at the Esplanade. The inside is really nice
with all the fish tanks. Every time we went it was fairly good, but
this last time I spent about $65 and it was terrible. I had calamari
for an appetizer, which was really bad. I had a tilapia sandwich,
which was average.
What are some of your other favorite restaurants?
Carrabba’s (Italian Grill) is pretty consistent. Every time I’ve
gone there it’s been pretty good. Sushi Thai on Fifth Avenue was
very good. They have a lunch special on the weekends. I had the
Fifth Avenue Roll and it was very good, and a lobster salad, all
for under $10. It’s very, very fresh food. Very well put together —
good presentation. The servers were very nice.
What’s your favorite style of cuisine?
Italian is my favorite. Mostly seafood pastas … I’m limited in the
way I eat Italian now because of an allergic reaction to cheese. I
also like Armenian food, but you can’t find a lot of that around.
What qualities do you look for in a good restaurant?
Good service, good presentation
