BELGIAN DELEGATION IS DUE IN YEREVAN

A Belgian delegation headed by the President of Belgium’s Senate
Armand de Decker is due in Armenia on September 30.
Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and Speaker of the National
Assembly, Hovik Abrahamian are scheduled to receive the Belgian
delegation on October 1. Belgian delegates will also meet with heads
of Armenian parliamentary factions.
Later in the day, Mr. Decker will be hosted by His Holiness Karekin
II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The delegation
will visit the museums of Holy Etchmiadzin and Zvartnots Temple.
On October 2 the delegation headed by the President of the Belgian
Senate will meet Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian and Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian. The guests will visit Armenian State
University of Economics, Yervand Kochar’s Museum, and the Memorial
of Tsitsernakaberd.
On October 3 the delegation of the Belgian Senate will participate
in the 14th international conference on "The interaction between
constitutional courts and parliaments in guaranteeing the supremacy
of the Constitution."
The delegation will be back to Belgium on October 4.
