Good-neighborhood relations should be maintained in South Caucasian
region, said a renowned filmmaker, National Artist of Ukraine Roman
Balayan told Analitika.at.ua ezine commenting on Armenia-Turkey
normalization.

"In the years-long standstill, establishment of the dialogue between
Armenia and Turkey is a positive step that will have a positive effect
not only over the economic development of the two states," he stated.

"Those who oppose the document are not aware of that the majority
of Turks do not know the truth about the Genocide. The dialogue is a
unique and positive moment opening a new page in the history of the
two nations," the filmmaker maintains.
