Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Presidential Administration has
started commenting an upcoming signing of the protocols on diplomatic
relations between Turkey and Armenia.
During yesterday’s meeting with the members of the Caspian-European
Integration Business Club (CEIBC) Ali Hasanov, the head of the
Presidential Administration Socio-Political Department, said that
the protocols would be signed but time will show what is going to
be further.
"We don’t believe that normalization of links between Turkey and
Armenia and trade between them will change Armenian side’s approach
to settlement of the conflict with Azerbaijan. Over the last 100
years we have seen much from Armenia and that is why we don’t believe
Armenians," Hasanov said.
Turkey is planning to sign agreements with Armenia on 10 October of
the year.
"At the same time we believe Turkish Prime Minister who stated that
Turkish-Armenian agreements will no damage Azerbaijan," Hasanov said.
