HIGH FEST Festival opened with "The Overcoat" by the Bulgarian "Credo"
theater.

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ HIGH FEST theater festival started October 1 in
Yerevan. The festival was opened with the Gogol’s play "The Overcoat"
staged by the Bulgarian "Credo" theater.
Theater "Credo", established in 1992 in Sofia (Bulgaria) performed
"The Overcoat" in different countries around the world for the last 18
years. The play was performed in 9 languages – English, French,
German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Greek, Serbian, Bulgarian.
"We are very close to the style of Gogol, it’s absurd," the director
of the "Credo" theater Nina Dimitrova said.
HIGH FEST Festival will be held from October 1 to 8 in Yerevan under
the auspices of the President of Armenia and with support of the
ministry of culture.
33 theaters from 22 countries, including Britain, Canada, Iceland,
France, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Poland, Iran will take part in the
festival. 50 plays at 16 Yerevan theaters will be staged during the
festival during 8 days.
