United Nations Development Program (UNDP) issued a Human Development
Report 2009 (HDR). Norway, Australia, Iceland, Canada and Ireland are
rated the best life-quality countries with higher development index
among182 countries and territories.
Armenia was rated 84, leaving Ukraine (85), Azerbaijan (86), and
Georgia (86) behind. Russia is number 71. Amid the most underdeveloped
countries are Niger, Afghanistan and Sierra-Leone.
