In 2006, PriceWaterhouseCoopers coined the term the "Emerging Seven"
(E7) to describe some of the fastest growing economies in the
world. The "Emerging Seven" includes Brazil, Russia, India, China,
Turkey, Indonesia and Mexico and is said to replace the current G7
(U.S., Japan, Germany, U.K., France, Italy, and Canada).
According to the report by PWC, at the beginning of 2030, the world
economy’s GDP will double by up to 143 trillion USD. The E7 countries’
portion in world GDP will be 40%, while G7 countries’ portion will
be 30%, reports Russian news agency Itar-Tass.
