Armenia’s Information Security conception has been submitted into the
sitting of the committee of the heads of the Security Council of CSTO
member states.
The chairman of the foreign security department of the Armenian
National Security Council Misha Melkonyan told journalists today the
CSTO member states expressed interest over the conception and the
experience Armenia has in the sphere, as well as the investment they
can make into it. He also said the conception results can be expected
at the beginning of the following year.
The advisor of the secretary of the National Security Council Rafik
Mkhitaryan said the working-out and approval of the 10-unit conception,
access to the Armenian state web-sites, availability and security have
been quite weak so far, which, anyway, cannot be said about Azerbaijan.
"The issues like this were not regulated in Armenia and this made
us work out the conception and give certain assignments to the
corresponding bodies," he said, explaining it also includes facing
disinformation.
