ISRAEL IN CENTER OF ISLAMIC ‘FLAGS WARS’

The running week is marked by two "flag scandals". At the same time
again two notable events took place in South Caucasus.

First Azerbaijan’s flag in shared video posted Sunday on Iranian
TV’s web-site had Star of David, that is, the symbol of Israel,
instead of its traditional star. Azerbaijanis web-site Bakililar.az
released a message titled "Azerbaijan’s state agencies under Zionists’
monitoring" in which points that Israel’s Zionist mode holds training
programs for political activists and media-members, aimed at expansion
and illegitimate proposals. Zionists partake in Mashav training
courses. Therefore Iran’s Foreign Ministry declined to comment on
the incident declaring that media-leaders are appointed by Supreme
Spiritual Leader who determines TV’s chief content and policy.

Secondly, thousands of protesters carried a Palestine flag and posters
of Al-Aqsa Mosque during an anti-Israel demonstration held in support
of Jerusalem’s Arab riots in Istanbul this Monday. As YNet news agency
reports, the protesters finally have burned Israel’s flag.

"Turkey has two trends, the modern European one which is rational
and tolerant, and the Islamist one which is sometimes unfriendly to
Israel," told YNet a Foreign Ministry source.

"These complexities determine knotted relations between Israel and
Turkey. Radical Muslims who initiated riots in Jerusalem just want
to damage Israel’s relations with moderate Muslims."

Thus, what do we have finally? There are two great Islamic nations
together hating Israel, and Azerbaijan which loves pointing its
friendly relations with Israel thus becoming betrayer on radical
Muslims’ view.

Bu the way, Azerbaijan’s flag has faced today one more challenge:
it’s prohibited to carry Azerbaijan’s flag during football match
between Armenia and Turkey which will be held October 14 in Bursa-city.
