E. NALBANDYAN, "ARMENIA HAS ALWAYS RESPECTED AND RESPECTS THE REACHED AGREEMENTS"

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS: "The ratification of the
Armenian-Turkish protocols signed October 10 in Zurich depends on the
parliaments. But we expect reasonable timeframe," Armenian Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandyan told the Russian "Kommersant" newspaper
in response to the question when the ratification of the protocols
is intended.

To the question whether they will witness the opening of the
Armenian-Turkish border this year E. Nalbandyan said, that he excludes
nothing. "Everything is possible. It depends on how much the sides
will respect the agreements and how they will move forward. Armenia
has always respected and goes on respecting the agreements reached
with other sides."

The journalist noted that Turkey seems to respect, too. "That means
we will move forward," the foreign minister said.
