SWISS DIPLOMACY SHINES IN TURKEY-ARMENIA DEAL

The Swiss-brokered deal between Turkey and Armenia, signed Saturday
in Zurich, is expected to improve relations between the two nations
after decades of hostility. Although the first cracks are starting
to appear in historic agreement–meant to reopen a border closed 16
years ago and establish diplomatic ties for the first time–it’s put
Switzerland’s instrumental role as an "active neutral" mediator in
the negotiations into the spotlight.
