TURKEY’S FLAGS ARE CARRIED AWAY FROM BAKU

Turkey shocked by decision that Azerbaijan’s Government had made. As
Sonsayfa e-agency reports, Turkey’s flags were carried away from
Mausoleum in Memory of Turkish soldiers who dead here in Baku in
early last century.
This action prompted an outcry from Azerbaijan’s opposition. In
particular, Musavat Party issued a statement reading: "This step is
against not only Ankara’s authorities, but against entire Turkey. Even
the existing tension in bilateral relations shouldn’t cause such
serious political mistakes."
Sonsayfa reports that ANC TV has already broadcasted episodes of that
Mausoleum, which is close to Azerbaijan’s Parliament, without flags.
It worth mentioning that Azerbaijan’s Government hasn’t yet made
any statement.
