On October 19 the newly appointed Ambassador of Georgia to Armenia,
Gregory Tabatadze, presented the copies of his credentials to the
Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating Ambassador Tabatadze on appointment, Minister Nalbandian
expressed hope that he would make an important contribution to
the further reinforcement and development of mutually beneficial
Armenian-Georgian cooperation.

Attaching importance to the accomplishment of the agreements reached
between the Presidents of Armenia and Georgia, the parties discussed a
wide range of issues related to the promotion of bilateral cooperation
in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Tabatadze exchanged views on a
number of regional issues.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
