Despite Armenia’s 0.1% economic growth in January-September this year,
there is still an 18.3% fall compared with the same period last year.

According to the National Statistical Service’s macroeconomic ratings
showing the social-economic state in Armenia, this year’s GDP is
2123218.4 million drams

Let us remind that the decline was 18.4% last month. There has been
insignificant growth in almost all spheres compared with August,
while the figures are not too satisfying compared with last year.

There has been a growth of officially registered unemployed citizens by
10.3% (83,100 people), while there were 83,800 unemployed last month;
in other words, 700 people have been employed.

According to information from the National Statistical Service,
construction has grown by 8.8% since last month. Ratings show that
the fall of construction was 43.8% in January-September and 52.6%
last month. Fall in industry makes up 11.4%, 1.4% in services and 1.3%
in agriculture.

Circulation of foreign products reduced by 30.7% in January-September
and figures were positive last month with 29.9%. Exports decreased
by 41.5% and imports by 27.7%.

Figures show that the growth of construction has played a major role
in the 0.1% growth last month.
