Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. "It doesn’t need to fold hands
disappointing with the last developments between Turkey and Armenia.

It needs to take lessons from these issues and to be more fighter and
more attentive. It doesn’t need to rely on someone. It shows that there
are not only double, but multiple standards as well. In this case we
have to rely on ourselves, our state, our people and our president and
to increase our economic and defense power", said Vice Prime Minister
and Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov,
APA reports. He said it was impossible to say who would benefit from
the last developments. "If any country thinks that it will benefit
from these processes, it is wrong. Someone sacrifice something in these
processes. Therefore our country should strengthen its economic power".

Hasanov talked about the events around the ban on Azerbaijani flags at
the Bursa stadium. "Of course, I can express the opinion of internally
displaced persons. Every Azerbaijani citizen concerns about throwing
the Azerbaijani flags into the boxes in Turkey. It is disagreeable
case that there was such attitude to the national attribute of our
country. Turkey seriously takes care about its national attribute. We
also concern about our flag".

Hasanov didn’t rule out third forces could be interested in these
processes. "The fact is that Turkey didn’t make any statement on this
issue. It would be better if they explained it or apologized. But it
didn’t happen. It is regrettable. It is not interesting for us what
the neighbor country will do. I think Azerbaijan will not lose, in
contrary it will win from the last developments because such issues
make us open our eyes. We become sure once again that we have to be
more attentive and to rely only on ourselves".

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
