RA FOREIGN MINISTER RECEIVES U.S. DEPUTY ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF STATE

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian
met with Tina Kaidanow, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for
European and Eurasian Affairs on October 20. The interlocutors
discussed the development prospects of bilateral relations. E.

Nalbandian said that Armenia attaches importance to deepening of
relations with the United States in various spheres and strengthening
of friendly partnership and cooperation.

They also exchanged thoughts over the normalization process of
Armenian-Turkish relations. E. Nalbandian thanked the U.S. for its
assistance to the process of establishment of relations between
Armenia and Turkey and for its efforts made in that process.

According to a report by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information
Department, the sides also touched upon the last developments in the
negotiations of the Nagorno Karabakh problem peaceful settlement.
