IMPLEMENTATION OF INVESTMENT PROGRAM OF SCR ON TRACK FACILITIES MAKES 822 MILLION RUBLES WITHIN 9 MONTHS OF 2009

YEREVAN, October 23. /ARKA/. "Implementation of investment program
of CJSC "South Caucasian Railway" (SCR) on track facilities is 822
million rubles within nine months of 2009", said Shevket Shaydullin,
General Director of SCR.
"For track facilities we planned relevant amount which is about
1 billion rubles. The annual plan is implemented in 80%", he said
on Wednesday in International Press Center "Novosti. The volume of
funding of design-survey work of 85 million rubles was planned and
the implementation amount is about 82 million rubles or about 97%.
He said that capital repair with new material for 11.5 km and funding
of 262.03 million rubles makes 260.9 million rubles. Capital repair of
old material of more than 7 km in the amount of more than 72 million
rubles for 6 km and funding of 100 million rubles.
"The first time the indicator of intensive repair, implementation of
which makes 15 km with a plan of 35 km was 20 million rubles from 57
million rubles. It makes 42.8%", – he said. Shaydullin said that the
indicator of replacement of transportation of railway bars with 10
sets in the amount of 31 million rubles is not implemented yet.
The reason is absence of ferroconcrete bars. "We will get
ferroconcrete bars in the nearest future and we will do this work",
said Shaydullin. CJSC "South-Caucasian Railway" (SCR) which is 100%
daughter enterprise of Open JSC "Russian Railway". SCR accepted on
its balance the rolling stock of AR on July 1, 200 according to the
concession agreement as of February 13, 2008 about the transfer of
state CJSC "Armenian railway" under the management of RR for 30 years
with the right of prolongation of 10 years by mutual agreement of
the parties (1 ruble – 13.16 drams).
