ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO ITALY RUBEN KARAPETYAN HANDED HIS CREDENTIALS TO THE PRESIDENT OF ITALY

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenian ambassador to Italy Ruben
Karapetyan handed October 23 his credentials to the President of
Italy Georgia Napolitano.

Armenian Foreign Ministry’s Media and Information Department told
Armenpress that at the conversation followed after the ceremony the
Italian president noted that Armenia is an important partner for
Italy and the relations between Armenian and Italian peoples have
history of ages.

The ambassador on his part pointed out the readiness of the Armenian
side to raise the Armenian-Italian relations on a new level.

With that aim the ambassador on behalf of the Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan, invited the Italian president to visit Armenia.

With the request of Georgia Napolitano the ambassador presented the
recent developments in the Armenian-Turkish relations and Karabakh
conflict normalization process.
