PRESIDENT SERZH SARGSYAN: DONATIONS COLLECTED BY ALL-ARMENIAN HAYASTAN FUND WILL USED TO DEVELOP TOWN OF SHUSHI

ArmInfo. The President of Armenia, Chairman of the Board of Trustees
of the All- Armenian Hayastan Fund, Serzh Sargsyan organized a
fund-raising reception in Moscow on October 25.

The presidential press-service quotes the president as saying in
his speech that this time donations will be spent to implement a
development program of the town of Shushi. "The town of Shushi that
was one of the educational and cultural centers of Eastern Armenia,
which we have always been proud of, needs our support. These was no
war our region that would pass by our town", the president said.

"No one can donate more than the heroes of war who have brought Shushi
back to us. We are strong with those teens who call and donate their
savings to Artsakh, with all the sons of the Armenian people who are
building a new Matenadaran or hospital in Artsakh, whether they are
builders, philanthropists or architects," the president said.
