ARMENIA AND LEBANON DISCUSS BILATERAL TIES

Armenia’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashot Kocharyan, had a meeting with
Lebanon’s Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora, yesterday, reports press
office of Armenian Foreign Ministry.
Prime Minister Siniora congratulated Ashot Kocharyan with the
appointment and wished him good luck in diplomatic mission. During
the meeting, the parties highlighted the importance of launching of
Armenian-Lebanese relations, their developing and expanding especially
those in trade and economy. They also pointed importance of mutual
visits of high-ranking delegations and of sessions of intergovernmental
commissions.
The parties noted that existing potential in different fields provides
wide opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. During
the meeting the officials also talked about last developments in
Armenian-Turkish reconciliation.
