CONSTRUCTION OF HILL OF HONOR MEMORIAL COMPLEX TO START IN 2010 IN GYUMRI

GYUMRI, OCTOBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The construction of Hill of Honor
memorial complex of Russian soldiers perished in the Russian-Turkish
wars will start in 2010 in Gyumri. Noyan Tapan correspondent
was informed about it by Hrayr Karapetian, the Head of the Urban
Development Department of Gyumri Mayor’s Office.
According to him, a land plot has been already allotted for the
construction, projects have been made up. H. Karapetian said that
the Otechestvo military-patriotic charity fund () and
benefactors from the Ulianovsk RF region hold the fund-raising for
the memorial complex construction.
