OSCE MG COCHAIRMEN CONSIDER THEIR MEETINGS WITH FOREIGN MINISTERS OF ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN CONSTRUCTIVE

ArmInfo. OSCE MG Cochairmen Yury Merzlyakov (Russia), Bernard Fassier
(France) and Robert Bradtke (USA) will visit the region in early
November. According to the statement of OSCE MG co-chairs, they met
with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Armenian
Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan in Luxembourg on October 26. The
sessions, which took place in a constructive spirit, assessed the
current stage of the negotiations and considered, in particular, next
steps in view of the December 1-2 OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens.
The Co-Chairs will travel to the region in early November to meet
the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan and continue to work with
them on the basic principles for the peaceful settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
