SWEDISH FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS TO RATIFY PROTOCOLS

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt called on Turkey and Armenia
to accelerate the ratification of signed Protocols, Turkish Stargun
website reports.

In the course of EU-South Caucasus cooperation council session in
Luxemburg, Swedish Foreign Minister commenting on the Protocols said:
"We call on the both countries’ parliaments to ratify the Protocols
as soon as possible. Normalization of relations proceeds from common
interests."

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov underlined that
stability and peace in the region depends on "withdrawal of Armenian
troops from Nagorno-Karabakh."
