ARMENIA-EU RELATIONS CONTINUE DEVELOPING

On October 28 the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Karine Ghazinyan
and Arman Kirakosyan, received the EU Special Representative for the
South Caucasus, Peter Semenby.

The Armenian party stressed that the Armenia-EU relations continue
developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Presenting the steps Armenia takes towards accomplishment of the Action
Plan of the European Neighborhood Policy, Deputy Minister Ghazinyan
noted that the successful implementation of the program is among the
priorities of the Armenia-EU cooperation and official Yerevan will
continue taking practical steps to reinforce the relations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the Eastern Partnership Program,
attaching importance to the full utilization of the of the program’s
potential.

At the request of the European side, Arman Kirakosyan presented the
process of settlement of the Karabakh issue and the latest developments
in the Armenian-Turkish relations.
