NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO MONUMENT IN MEMORY OF 1999 PARLIAMENT SHOOTING VICTIMS

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. "Remaining true to its position
of working openly and publicly, the National Assembly expresses its
readiness to ensure the organization of familiarization trips to the
National Assembly and to provide access for those who want to visit
the monument in memory of the victims of the 1999 Armenian parliament
shooting," is said in the October 28 statement of the RA National
Assembly PR Department.

The same source reports that on June 29, 2009, NA Speaker Hovik
Abrahamian signed an instruction approving the order of organizing
fmiliarization trips to the National Assembly, in accordance with
which many such trips have already taken place.
