ARMENIA TO PRESENT THE "WORLD CITY" AT THE EXPO 2010 IN SHANGHAIS

A new city will be possibly built in Armenia. It will not be like any
other town in the country and will not be exceptionally Armenian. "The
world city" is stll a projtiect, but its model will be presented at
the Expo10 in Shanghais.
The world city with its European, Persian, Russian, Arabic, American
and other districts may become a reality. About 150 Armenian architects
from different countries of the world are now working on the project.
Thus, we are still preparing for the Expo10 in Shanghais, where 192
countries and 50 international organizations will participate. The
second stage of the "world city" project will start after the Expo
2010, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan said,
"There is an idea, not a final decision to build the city near Khor
Virap," Hranush Hakobyan said.
