ARMENIAN CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS’ AGGREGATE CAPITAL GROWS BY 25.8% IN Q3 TO 25.9 BILLION DRAMS

YEREVAN, October 29, /ARKA/. Armenian credit organizations’ aggregate
capital grew by 25.8% in Q3 to 25.9 billion Drams, the Central Bank
of Armenia said in its brief review of the credit organization’s
activities in Q3.

The Central Bank said their aggregate authorized capital grew by 36.5%
to 20.9 billion Drams. Non-resident companies’ share in Armenian
credit organizations fell by 17% from Q2 of 2009 to 8.5 billion Drams.

The volume of surplus earnings at the end of Q3 stood at 4.5 billion
Drams against 4.8 billion Drams at the end of Q2, 2009.

As of September 30,2009 there were 27 registered credit organizations
in Armenia with 53 branches.
