HORST KOHLER: ARMENIA IS AN IMPORTANT PARTNER FOR GERMANY

Armenian Ambassador to Germany Armen Martirosyan presented his
credentials to the President of Germany, Horst Kohler.

The German President noted that Armenia was an important partner for
his country. Ambassador Martirosyan emphasized the willingness of
the Armenian side to raise the relations with Germany to a new level.

The parties discussed a number of issues, including the impact of
the global economic crisis on the Armenian economy.

During the conversation Ambassador Martirosyan presented the latest
developments in the process of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish
relations.

The President of Germany wished success to the Armenian Ambassador
and voiced hope that his he would contribute to the development of
bilateral relations.
