AZERBAIJAN’S FOREIGN MINISTRY HAS NOT HEARD OF US ULTIMATUM ON KARABAKH

MFA of Azerbaijan "Azerbaijan is not a country that accepts the
language of ultimatums," the Foreign Ministry said.
"Washington has presented a stiff ultimatum to Azerbaijan: it made it
clear that if the country ‘attempts a military operation in Nagorno
Karabakh, the United States will recognize its independence’,"
newsru.com reports.
A spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, Elkhan Polukhov,
said he had no idea of the ultimatum.
"Azerbaijan is not a country that accepts the language of ultimatums,"
Polukhov said.
"We carry out an independent foreign policy based on our national
interests."
