underway in Moscow, became success for the Armenian grandmaster Levon
Aronian . Playing White, Aronian was able to defeat Peter Leko
(Hungary) and now has 2 points in the asset.

In the third round Viswanathan Anand (India), who shares shares 1-2
places with Aronian, won a victory over his rival Peter Svidler
(Russia).

Boris Gelfand (Israel) and Magnus Carlsen (Norway) played a draw.
