Chess: Levon Aronyan To Play V. Boris Gelfand

LEVON ARONYAN TO PLAY V. BORIS GELFAND

In round five of Moscow Chess Tournament dedicated to Grand Master
Mikhail Tal, Levon Aronyan-Alexander Morozevich set ended in a draw
and Armenian Grand Master at 3 points seeded third. Viswanathan Anand
(India) and Vladimir Kramnik (Russia) are a half-point ahead.

Boris Gelfand, Vasily Ivanchuk, Magnus Carlsen, and Ruslan Ponomarev
earned 2.5 points each. Alexander Morozevich is on 2 points; both
Peter Leko and Peter Svidler have 1.5 points each.

Today in round six Levon Aronyan will play black against Israel’s
Boris Gelfand. Magnus Carlsen will meet with Viswanathan Anand,
Vladimir Kramnik – with Ruslan Ponomarev, and Peter Leko will play
against Peter Svidler.
