/PanARMENIAN.Net/ President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today
the Resident Coordinator of the UN headquarters in Armenia Consuelo
Vidal , who is completing her diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The President thanked Consuelo Vidal for her four years of productive
work and support programs aimed at Armenia’s development. "It is not
just about funding, experience, involvement and the possibility of
comparison are much more important for us," President Sargsyan said.
In turn, Consuelo Vidal, thanked the President for the excellent
cooperation of the UN Development Programs and Armenia.
The two sides also exchanged views on the balanced development of
all regions of Armenia and next year’s census to be organized. UN
Resident Coordinator called the example of Armenia as remarkable,
since despite the strong influence of the global economic crisis on
its economy, Armenia has managed to keep its social programs.
