A COOPERATION CONTRACT SIGNED BETWEEN STATE COMMITTEE ON SCIENCE OF ARMENIAN EDUCATION AND SCIENCE MINISTRY AND NKR EDUCATION AND SCIENCE MINISTRY

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: On purpose of taking part in the
events dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Artsakh State University
the Armenian delegation headed by Minister of Education and Science
Armen Ashotyan, was November 13-15 in Nagorno Karabakh Republic. Media
and Information Department of State Committee on Science of Armenian
Ministry of Education and Science told Armenpress that Armenian
delegation-members met November 13 with NKR President Bako Sahakyan.
Welcoming the guests and expressing gratitude for admitting the
invitation, B. Sahakyan noted that the goal of the invitation
is the drafting of a new project on cooperation with Armenian
scientific-educational establishments.
A cooperation contract was signed on November 15 between State
Committee on Science of Armenian Education and Science Ministry and NKR
Education and Science Ministry. Chairman of State Committee on Science
Samvel Harutyunyan from the Armenian side and Science and Education
Minister V. Khachatryan from Karabakh side signed the contract.
The contract intends to carry out collaborative basic and applicable
works in the spheres of natural, technical and humanitarian sciences,
as well as to finance projects on scientific researches selected on
contest principles on the basis of independent experiment, to assist
the scientific-research works of young scientists, the preparation of
cadres, as well as to conduct scientific forums, classes, workshops
and other scientific events.
During the visit the Armenian delegation participated in the
scientific-methodical conference organized on the occasion of the
40th anniversary of Artsakh State University, visited the picturesque
places of Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Chairman of Armenian National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan,
rectors of higher educational establishments and other officials were
involved in the Armenian delegation.
