On the 21st of November, 2009 the Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan
received the delegation headed by the foreign policy and defence
councilor of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain
and Northern Ireland Simon McDonald. The delegation-members were the
deputy chief of the Defence Staff of the GB AF, Lieutenant-General
Simon Mayall, had of the Department of General Operative Policy on
the MoD John Day, and representatives of the GB AF.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest in the
Armenian-British cooperation in the sphere of defence, as well as
issues regarding the participation of the RA AF subunits with the
International Security Forces in Afghanistan.
