FIRST SESSION OF THE STATE COMMISSION SET UP FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF EVENTS DEDICATED TO THE 65TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE VICTORY IN GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR TAKES PLACE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: First session of the state
commission set up for the organization of events dedicated to the
65th anniversary of the victory in Great Patriotic War took place
today in the government, chaired by the head of the commission,
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
"The celebrations dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory in
Great Patriotic War give an exclusive opportunity to pay our tribute to
the participants of the world war who are with us today and to remember
those who gave their lives for the victory," the prime minister said.
Governmental press service told Armenpress that at the session the
participants discussed issues on Armenia’s participation in ceremonial
events approved by the Council of Heads of the CIS countries, as well
as approved the national program of events.
The prime minister gave assignments to the heads of the state bodies
for good organization and implementation of the events.
