ATHENS, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS: Within the framework of the OSCE
Ministerial Council December 1 the meeting of the representatives
of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries – Russian Foreign Minister
Sergey Lavrov, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner and head of
the US delegation, Assistant Secretary of State James Steinberg –
with Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandyan and
Elmar Mammedyarov will take place in Athens. Press secretary of the
OSCE Martin Nesirki told Armenpress that at the end of the meeting
they will answer to the questions of reporters.
"Everything depends on how the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani
ministers will pass," he said, in response to the question whether
a statement about the Karabakh conflict regulation issue will follow
after the meeting.
Today in the evening at 9.00 pm Yerevan time in "Intercontinental"
hotel of Athens the face-to-face meeting of the Armenian and
Azerbaijani foreign ministers will take place and afterwards the OSCE
Minsk Group co-chairs will join them.
