TASHKENT HOSTS EVENING IN MEMORY OF ARMENIAN POET PARUYR SEVAK

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Tashkent hosted an evening in memory of the greatest
Armenian poets of 20th century Paruyr Sevak . The event was prepared
by teachers and students of the Tashkent-based Armenian Sunday school.

Those present were told about the life path of the poet and his works
are represented in different years.

Paruyr Sevak (January 26, 1924 – June 17, 1971) – Armenian poet
and literary critic, doctor of philological sciences, laureate of
State Prize of Armenian SSR (1967), author of poetry collection "The
Immortals command" (1948 ), "Road of Love" (1954), "Again with you"
(1957), "Man on the palm" (1963), "Let there be light" (1969) and
the lyric poem "Incessant bell"(1959), for the which he was awarded
the State Prize.
