Please, be informed that on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 3:00 pm the
Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) and HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC will be
holding a press conference to present "Plastic Bags Free Communities –
Environmental Protection and Business Development Opportunities in Rural
Areas" project. This is a project within the framework of COAF’s
Comprehensive Rural Development Program in Armavir District of Armenia
and HSBC Bank Armenia’s Corporate Sustainability Policy.

The COAF-HSBC partnership’s principal goal is to free the environment
from plastic bags and empower women in rural areas with leadership in
creating Bags for Life – reusable bags that partner organizations
consider the best option amongst the plastic, paper and other bags
available in today’s market.

During the press conference, the mass media representatives will be
provided with a press release, project factsheet and leaflets, project
T-shirts and samples of re-usable bags.
