Regional Ministers of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Visit
Haigazian University
Beirut, December 4, 2009- On December 4, 2009, as part of their trip to
the Middle East, to encounter partners and learn about their work and
ministries, a delegation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Regional Ministers visited Haigazian University.
The delegation led by the Executive of the Middle East and Europe Common
Global Ministries Board of the United Church of Christ, Dr. Peter Makari
included seven Regional Ministers from across the USA.
They were welcomed by Haigazian University President, Rev. Dr. Paul
Haidostian, in addition to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences,
Dr. Arda Ekmekji, the Campus Minister, Rev. Greg Lee-Parker, and the
Public Relations Director, Mira Yardemian.
The delegation had the chance to get acquainted with the positive role
Haigazian University plays in promoting quality education in the region,
and in preserving the Lebanese and Armenian culture and heritage.
