400 FAMILIES IN VANADZOR AND SPITAK TO GET APARTMENT IN 2010

This morning Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited Spitak, where
he laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the devastating
earthquake of 1988. The Prime Minister later left for Vanadzor, where
he participated in a candle-lighting ceremony at St. Harutyun Church.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Urban
Development, Vardan Vardanyan and the Minister of Labor and Social
Affairs, Mkhitar Mnatsakanyan.

The Minister of Urban Development assured that "400 families will be
provided shelter in Spitak and Vanadzor in 2010." According to him,
there will be no homeless families in the earthquake zone by 2012.
