The Armenian parliament has approved the agreements signed earlier
between Armenia and NATO on deployment of Armenian peacekeeping troops
in Afghanistan.

Earlier, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan had submitted to the
parliament two agreements regulating legal and financial issues of
the Armenian contingent.

According to the minister, the Armenian peacekeepers will serve under
the German flag. Their objective will be provision of airport security
in the city of Kunduz.
