"If Israel were to violate Turkish airspace in order to conduct
reconnaissance operations on Iran, Ankara’s reaction would resemble an
‘earthquake’," Jewish Jerusalem Post quotes Turkish Prime Minister
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who gave an interview to Egyptian journalist
Fahmi Huwaidi.
According to the daily, Erdogan underlined that Israel never entered
Turkey’s airspace, if it happened, the consequence would be terrible.
Turkish Premier advised Israeli authorities not to use relations with
Turkey "as a card to wage aggression on a third party."
Erdogan stated that Israel could not cherish hopes to participate in
a joint military exercises after "sweeping" the people of Gaza. "We
cannot challenge the feelings of the Turkish people, who were greatly
affected by what happened during the aggression on Gaza," Premier said.
