GEORGIAN TOWN OF RUSTAVI HOSTS ARMENIAN CULTURE EVENING

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Yesterday, December 15, Georgian town of Rustavi
hosted Armenian culture evening within Georgia-residing nations’
festival framework.

The event, organized on the initiative of Georgia’s Education and
Science Ministry, was attended by Armenian Ambassador to Georgia
Hrach Silvanyan and representatives of Rustavi town authorities.

During the evening, Sayat Nova’s songs, Hovhannes Tumanyan’s poetry
and Armenian dances were performed by school students.

The participants emphasized the importance of the event in the
development of neighborly relations between the states.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered.
